Kontur Color Matching
Adventure in Colors provides continuation tinting and color-matching services for patients who previously received tinted lenses through Kontur Kontacts. After Kontur discontinued its in-house tinting services, Adventure in Colors began supporting many of these existing patients by recreating and maintaining established tint colors through our own specialty tinting process.
This service is intended primarily for existing Kontur patients who need their established lens color or tint reproduced. It is separate from Adventure in Colors' hand-painted prosthetic lens service.
Continuing Established Kontur Tint Colors
Kontur Kontacts is a specialty contact lens manufacturer that historically provided tinted lens services for its own patients and accounts. When Kontur discontinued its in-house tinting operation, Adventure in Colors began receiving many of those patients for continued specialty tinting.
Adventure in Colors has developed formulas and processes that allow us to reproduce many established Kontur tint colors and continue providing tinted lenses for those existing patients.
For an existing Kontur patient, the goal is generally to maintain a familiar and consistent appearance rather than create an entirely new hand-painted prosthetic design.

Kontur Color Matching is primarily a continuation service for established Kontur Kontacts tint patients. It should not be confused with Adventure in Colors' hand-painted prosthetic lens service.
Kontur Color Matching

Hand-Painted Prosthetic Lenses

- May require specific eye photography, K readings, sample approval, and a separate fitting process
Ordering for an Existing Kontur Patient
Existing Kontur patients are ordered through the Adventure in Colors Enhancement Tint Order Form. The form includes a dedicated area for Kontur patients so the eye-care professional can provide the patient's established lens information, tint details, and other applicable specifications.
If you are placing an order for a patient who previously received tinted lenses through Kontur Kontacts, use the Enhancement Tint Order Form rather than the Hand Paint Order Form.
Providing the patient's prior Kontur information, when available, helps Adventure in Colors reproduce the established tint as accurately and consistently as possible.
